Ardina received a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Psychology from Brock University. She is working towards her Master’s in Counselling Psychology with exceptional grades and an appreciation of varying counselling techniques. She has previously worked with diverse populations and needs which has allowed her to take an individualized approach to each session. She facilitates an open, supportive, and relaxed atmosphere that promotes trust and respect.
Ardina is looking forward to putting these techniques into practice and developing these skills further through her practicum. She believes “People start to heal the moment they feel heard”.
Dr. Skerrett is a registered psychologist in Ontario, Alberta, and Nova Scotia. She additionally obtained a post doctoral Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology. She is registered to work with children, adolescents, adults, and families in clinical, counselling, and school psychology.
Dr. Skerrett is a member of the Ontario Psychological Association, Canadian Psychological Association, American Psychological Association, International Society for Neurofeedback and Research, and the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance. She is listed on the Canadian Register of Health Psychologists.
Skerrett Psychology Professional Corporation has bee operating since January 2011. Dr. Skerrett has experience working in private practice, hospital, agency, and school settings. Currently, she supervises staff, provides consultation, conducts presentations, and provides direct service to clients.
